System Overview:
A dedicated ultrasonic spray system for applying drug coatings to balloon catheters and peripheral stents. Equipped with TMAX’s focused-flow or micro-flow ultrasonic spray heads, it enables precision coating with uniform thickness and defect-free surfaces (no pinholes/orange peel effects). Compatible with coronary/peripheral balloons and stents via customized fixtures and rotation mechanisms.
Technical Highlights:
1. Ultrasonic Spray Head
o Proprietary designs (micro-flow/focused-flow) for minimal spray width (1–10mm) and ultra-low flow stability
o 4–5× higher material transfer efficiency vs. pneumatic spray
o 85%+ material utilization rate (4× better than traditional two-fluid spray)
2. Coating Quality
o Uniform drug deposition
o Defect-free layers
o High inter-batch consistency
3. Process Efficiency
o Multi-head/multi-fixture configurations for parallel processing
o Rapid-load balloon fixtures (supports catheters up to 2m)
o Peripheral stent fixtures for varied sizes
4. Humidification System (Optional)
o Submicron aerosol technology accelerates crystallization
o Non-invasive to equipment internals
5. Motion Control
o Servo-driven spray head positioning (µm-level accuracy)
o Dual-motor synchronous rotation (up to 500 RPM)
6. Compatibility
o Solvents: Acetone, THF, DMAC, Chloroform, Toluene
o Polymers: PU, PC, Silicone, Styrene, etc.
7. Key Parameters
o Balloon max length: 280mm
o Stent capacity: ≤280mm length, ≤60mm diameter
o Flow rate range: 0.001–2mL/min (solvent-dependent)
o Ultrasonic control: 0.01W precision (multi-core DSP)
8. Ancillary Systems
o Self-cleaning spray heads (anti-clogging)
o Ventilation interface (compatible with lab/extraction systems)
o Touchscreen HMI with intuitive GUI
o Optional UD25 Ultrasonic Dispersion Feeder: Prevents nanoparticle agglomeration
