For Metal and Ceramic Powder a Hot Press Sintering Furnace with Vacuum or Controlled Atmosphere Capability
Equipment Introduction
Hot Pressing Sintering Furnace is a complete set of equipment for hot press forming of materials under vacuum (or other atmospheres). It mainly adopts resistance or induction heating, with the upper and lower pressure applied by a cylinder-driven pressure head. At high temperatures, solid particles bond with each other, grains grow, pores (voids) and grain boundaries gradually decrease, and through mass transfer, the overall volume shrinks and density increases, forming dense polycrystalline sintered bodies with a specific microstructure, thereby pressing the materials into shape. The simultaneous action of high temperature, high pressure, and vacuum or atmosphere significantly improves the density, hardness, and other mechanical, electronic, and thermal properties of the products.
Hot pressing sintering of metal and ceramic powders
Preparation of ceramic/metal composites and intermetallic compounds
Research and development of diffusion bonding processes
Densification hot pressing sintering of oxides, nitrides, borides, carbides, and their mixtures
Applications
This equipment is suitable for high-temperature pressure sintering forming and densification of ceramic materials such as alumina, silicon carbide, boron carbide, and boron nitride, as well as new materials including graphene, carbon fiber, high-temperature alloy metal powder materials, powder metallurgy products, and functional ceramics. It can also be used for heat treatment of powders or compacts at temperatures below the melting point of their main components, with the purpose of improving their strength through metallurgical bonding between particles.
Product Features
-
Double-layer SUS304 furnace body structure with circulating cooling water in between, effectively reducing the furnace surface temperature, minimizing high-temperature damage, and lowering environmental impact.
-
Frame-type four-column support structure, constructed with profile welding and integral machining, ensuring equipment reliability.
-
Adopts advanced insulation materials and thermal insulation structures with low thermal conductivity, providing excellent heat preservation performance. It effectively isolates heat even at very high temperatures, saving energy consumption.
-
Wide temperature range with multiple optional heating elements (e.g., graphite, molybdenum, tungsten, induction heating). In a suitable protective atmosphere, the temperature can reach up to 2300°C, adapting to the hot pressing sintering of different materials.
-
Diversified vacuum system configurations, with different levels of vacuum selectable based on process requirements.
-
Equipped with a gas charging/discharging system, enabling hot pressing sintering in a vacuum environment, or in an inert or reducing atmosphere.
-
User-friendly configuration, supporting both manual and intelligent operation modes.
-
Multi-purpose design: can also be used as a standalone vacuum or atmosphere sintering furnace.
-
Vertical side door discharge design, suitable for large-scale industrial production.
-
Optional single-direction pressing or bidirectional pressing.
